Everything you rely on in FieldRoutes
Switching shouldn’t mean giving up the tools that run your routes. These come on every FieldCommerce plan.
Recurring service plans
Monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, and seasonal contracts that put upcoming visits on the schedule and bill themselves.
Route optimization
Optimize the day's stops from the calendar and see every route on a map, color-coded by technician.
Drag-and-drop scheduling
Move visits between days and techs when weather or a callback changes the plan.
Treatment and chemical records
Log applications, photos, and notes on each visit, and generate compliance reports automatically.
Automated reminders
Email and SMS appointment reminders and on-the-way notices without anyone in the office sending them.
Customer portal and autopay
Customers see service history, save a card, authorize autopay, and pay invoices themselves.
Payments at the door
Tap to Pay turns the tech's own phone into the card reader. No dongle to carry or lose.
QuickBooks Online sync
Customers, invoices, and payments sync automatically, so the books match the field.
iPhone and Android tech app
Techs see their route, service notes, and balance due, and close out visits from the truck.

What’s in the FieldRoutes contract
FieldRoutes publishes its terms of service, and they’re worth reading before you sign or renew. These are the defaults that apply unless your order form says otherwise.
Two-year default term
The initial term is two years, then it auto-renews for one-year periods. Not renewing takes notice at least 90 days before the term ends.
Leaving early costs the rest of the contract
Terminating before the term is over means "a termination fee equal to all the remaining payments."
Renewals go up at least 5%
Renewal rates increase by "the greater of (i) five percent (5%) or (ii) FieldRoutes' then current list prices."
Your tier only goes up
Pricing rises with active customers, by default $500 a month per extra 1,000, and "cannot be reduced" if your customer count drops.
Metered usage on top
Route optimization is $0.50 per route per technician, and SMS reminders are $0.05 per 160 characters, billed as usage.
Onboarding is billed, and their processor is required
Onboarding is billed time-and-materials or per project, and electronic payments must run through FieldRoutes' designated processor.

The no-surprise pricing guarantee
Know what you’ll pay. Next month and next season.
No multi-year term, no termination fee, no renewal hike, no metered route fees. Here’s what we commit to instead.
Your price in writing before you pay
You see what you'll pay before the trial ends. No demo-gated quote, no surprise line items on the first invoice.
Your bill doesn't jump as your route grows
FieldCommerce is priced on your team, not your customer count. Adding 300 accounts this spring doesn't change your plan.
Every feature on every plan
The full platform and the AI features are included. There is no Pro tier to upgrade into and no add-on to unlock later.
Free migration and onboarding
We import your data and a real person sets you up. No implementation fee.
No platform fee on payments
Card processing is 2.9% + 30¢, with no extra platform percentage on top.
Month-to-month, with a money-back guarantee
No long-term contract. If it isn't right in your first 30 days of paying, you get your money back.
AI you can use today
Grow your route without growing your office
FieldRoutes announced its AI Command Center in October 2026, with beta customers planned for 2027. FieldCommerce’s AI is already doing the office work:
- A morning briefing on what’s overdue, what to follow up on, and today’s schedule
- Drafted follow-ups on aging quotes and overdue invoices
- AI Booking: customers book you through AI assistants with your real availability, and no lead fees

Free data migration

We do the heavy lifting for free, and you don’t turn FieldRoutes off until you’re sure.
- 1
Export from FieldRoutes
Run the Customer Report (it exports in batches of up to 10,000) plus your subscription and invoice reports, or send what you have and we'll tell you exactly what we need.
- 2
We import everything, free
Customers, service addresses, recurring plans, jobs, invoices, and settings come over. Most imports are done within 24 hours, not the weeks FieldRoutes quotes for its own onboarding.
- 3
Run one cycle side by side
Keep FieldRoutes read-only for a billing cycle while your techs work from the FieldCommerce app, so nothing slips.
- 4
Turn on payments and switch off
Invite customers to the portal to save cards and autopay, give techs Tap to Pay, and cancel FieldRoutes.

Is FieldRoutes or FieldCommerce right for you?
Straight answer: FieldRoutes is built for big operations, and it does that well. Here’s how to tell which side you’re on.
Choose FieldCommerce if
- You run 1 to 8 trucks and want to grow without hiring more office staff
- You want to try software on real routes before you sign anything
- You want one predictable price that doesn't climb with your customer count
- You want AI doing the follow-ups, morning briefing, and bookings today
FieldRoutes may fit better if
- You run many branches with a full office team (6 of the 10 largest US pest companies run FieldRoutes)
- You sell door to door with a summer sales team and need FieldRoutes' mobile sales tools
- You rely on its Sentricon termite integration or build on its Premium API
- You already run ServiceTitan and want Marketing Pro's direct mail in the same ecosystem
FieldRoutes alternative FAQ
What is the best FieldRoutes alternative for a small pest control company?
+
For a pest or lawn company running 1 to 8 trucks, FieldCommerce covers what you use FieldRoutes for (recurring plans, route optimization, reminders, a customer portal, autopay, QuickBooks, and a tech app) and adds AI for the office work. You can try it free for 30 days with your own data. If you run many branches with a call center or a door-to-door sales team, FieldRoutes is built for that and may be the better fit.
Is FieldRoutes the same as PestRoutes?
+
Yes. PestRoutes rebranded as FieldRoutes after it was acquired by ServiceTitan in 2022. If you signed up for PestRoutes, you're on FieldRoutes now, and everything on this page applies.
How much does FieldRoutes cost?
+
FieldRoutes doesn't publish prices; you request a quote through sales. Its pricing page says the subscription is based on your number of active customers, and its terms of service default to $500 a month more for each additional 1,000 active customers, plus metered usage such as $0.50 per optimized route per technician and $0.05 per SMS. Pro products are separate. FieldCommerce is priced on your team, with every feature included and no Pro tier.
Does FieldRoutes have a free trial?
+
No. FieldRoutes says it does not offer a free trial because the software is highly customizable, and offers a demo instead. FieldCommerce gives you 30 days free, self-serve, on your own routes.
Does FieldRoutes have a contract? Can I cancel?
+
By default, FieldRoutes' terms of service set a two-year initial term that auto-renews for one year at a time, need 90 days' notice not to renew, raise renewal rates by at least 5%, and charge a termination fee equal to all remaining payments if you leave early. Your order form can override those defaults, so check yours for your renewal date. FieldCommerce is month-to-month.
I'm still under a FieldRoutes contract. Should I wait to switch?
+
You don't have to. Start your FieldCommerce trial now, get your data imported, and run both side by side so you're fully set up before your FieldRoutes term ends. Just send FieldRoutes your non-renewal notice at least 90 days before your renewal date (or whatever your order form says) so you aren't renewed for another year.
What happens to my data when I leave FieldRoutes?
+
Export it before your account ends. FieldRoutes' knowledge base says customer data is always available through the Customer Report, and its terms say it doesn't have to keep your data more than 60 days after termination, and export service fees may apply after that point. Send us your exports and we'll import them for free.
Can I move my data from FieldRoutes or PestRoutes to FieldCommerce?
+
Yes, for free. We import your customers, service addresses, recurring plans, jobs, invoices, and settings, and a real person handles the onboarding. Most imports are done within 24 hours.
What is the no-surprise pricing guarantee?
+
You get your price in writing before you pay. It's based on your team, not your customer count, every feature is included, migration and onboarding are free, there's no platform fee on card payments, and you're month-to-month with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Does FieldCommerce do route optimization like FieldRoutes?
+
Yes. Optimize the day's stops from the calendar, see every stop on a map color-coded by technician, and drag visits between days and techs.
Does FieldCommerce handle chemical tracking and compliance reports?
+
Yes. Techs log treatments, chemical applications, and photos on each visit, and compliance reports are generated automatically for regulators and commercial accounts.
What does FieldRoutes do that FieldCommerce doesn't?
+
FieldRoutes has mobile sales tools for door-to-door teams, a Sentricon integration, state chemical report formats, a Premium API with webhooks, AI-powered dash cameras through Fleet Pro, and Marketing Pro direct mail through ServiceTitan, and it's built for large multi-branch operations. FieldCommerce focuses on what a growing 1 to 8 truck company runs every day.
Does FieldCommerce work for lawn care too?
+
Yes. The same recurring contracts, routing, and autopay run lawn care, and you can run pest and lawn from one account.
